Digital magazines are available at Media on Demand!

3,000+ titles are available for check-out and they will always be “on shelf” for you, so no waiting!  Many are available on other languages, too. You just check them out the same as you would an eBook.

Email us for further information!

We have Mobile WiFi Hotspots available for check-out!

JEXtream Mobile Hotspot

The Doral Public Library offers WiFi hotspots for check-out.  These hotspots provide an unlimited 5G data connection for up to 20 devices (connection availability subject to cell coverage).  Hotspots can be checked out for a period of three weeks (renewals are possible, provided there are no holds on them), and must be returned to the Doral Public Library.  Must be an adult (age 18 or over) and have a valid Doral Public Library card to check out a hotspot. Come try them out!

The Doral Public Library now offers Explore More Florida, a cultural pass program that provides discounts and other offerings from museums, historical societies, performing and visual arts centers, and other attractions across the state of Florida. The program is free for adults 18 years and older who have a library card from a participating library. Offerings differ by attraction and include free or reduced admission, free parking, discounts at attraction shops, and more.

Explore More Florida is available 24/7 from any computer, tablet, or smartphone. Visit the explore more portal and login using a valid library card number and password to review and reserve offerings by attraction and specific dates.

for residents that don’t have one!

If you live in Doral you can apply for this FREE 90 day online access card!

To help out residents (or nearby non-residents) who don’t have a library card, you can apply for a temporary online access card that will be good for most of our online resources. Download and enjoy eBooks, eAudiobooks, and eMagazines. You can take fun or helpful classes at Universal Class, stream movies with Kanopy, and read graphic novels with Comics Plus.  Interested? Email us @ info@dorallibrary.org

If you are at least 13 years old, live in Doral, and don’t already have a public library card, you qualify!  The cards are free and will be good for 90 days. If you wish to check-out Museum Adventure Passes, physical books, DVDs, hotspots, etc., you’ll need to convert your temporary card to a permanent one by visiting the library.

Library Registration Requirements

-Must provide TWO proofs of residency and a photo I.D. – if the photo I.D. has the correct address, that counts as one proof of residency.  Other proofs of residency accepted include current utility or credit card bills, rental agreements, mortgage statements, car registration, voter’s registration, and insurance cards (if the address is on them).  If you are unsure your proof of residency will be accepted, call the library before coming in to apply.

-Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to apply for a new card, replace a lost or damaged card or to renew a card.  Parents must provide TWO proofs of residency, as listed above.

-If you are renewing your card, you must bring your current Doral Public Library card, even if it is expired.  If you do not have your card, you must pay a fee for a replacement card (see FINES / FEES below).

-All fines, fees, or charges for lost material from any library must be paid before a library card will be issued, renewed or replaced.

Interlibrary loan is the process by which a library requests material from or supplies material to another library. Through interlibrary loan, patrons can access materials from other libraries in Florida. The requested materials will be sent to the Doral Public Library where the patron may check the item out (or use it in the library, as stipulated by the loaning library).  Doral Public Library does not support requests for out-of-state or international material.
